Pace Lubin Finance BBA: What Next?

So I'm currently getting an AAAS from a community college to save money, and then transferring to the Pace University Lubin School of Business. My intent is to complete their BBA in Finance, at the downtown Manhattan campus.
So to all of those who already have a job in the IB world: What should I be doing during my time in school to ensure I get that all-important internship/entry level job? How can I make myself into a better candidate? And what would be a massive waste of time, energy, and resume space?
