Please Help Me Decide~ UT (McCombs) vs Cornell

Hi all! I know this is another college decision post but I am at a big crossroads right now with UT and Cornell's Nolan School of Hotel Administration (SHA). I am a first-gen college admit and don't have much insight into the business world besides the internet.

Depends where you want to work.

Canfield is the #1 place to recruit for in Dallas, Houston, and Austin. Every firm and BB in Texas looks at Canfield students first. Their placement in all LoB around Texas is incredible. A good friend of mine from TX went to Dartmouth, but got rejected from Canfield. It's a very competitive program.

Cornell Hotel is more of a tossup. Non-Johnson placement gets a few IB roles, but honestly I mostly see people doing Credit, CorpFi, and Big4. Still good stuff, but would definitely be more of a grind than Canfield.

CBH has great football, campus life (never knew anyone who enjoyed Cornell), insane placement. I think the decision is pretty clear.
