Question about Undergrad schools
Hey, Im currently a freshman at the University of Washington, and I've decided that I want to get into I-banking/hedge funds.
Unfortunately the UW isn't a target school as far as I've read, and the Seattle area isn't really good for finance internships.
My question is, should I transfer to a different school aka NYU, Berkeley, or Northeastern ( I have a good shot at getting into these), or should I finish my undergrad here then try to get an MBA at a top business school?
My current tuition here is very low, under 10k a year, whereas If I decide to go to one of these schools it would be upwards of 50k.
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks!
Stick with your low tuition school, get good grades, higher GMAT, fight for internships, apply and become a student org leader and apply to a top MSF program like MIT, Vandy or WUSTL. I did this and the ROI on my education is unbelievable. My entire college + MSF eduation costs me less than 70k.
^ Agree with this. Also, Foster is a good business school.
northeastern is not at all in the same league as NYU/berkeley
