Rotman or Ivey MBA

I know there has been a lot of discussion on this forum about this topic but I would like to get some more insights from folks in the Canadian finance industry and hopefully some alumni of the two schools.

My Post-MBA goal would be corp development or strategy roles. Not really sure of the industry yet but Real Estate is something i'm seriously considering. I have a strong background in finance and am a CFA charterholder. I've been working as an equity research analyst covering tech over the past 4 years.

My question is: 1. How important would Rotman's internship be to break in to corp dev/strategy roles (considering that i have no prior experience in these roles)

  1. Would you recommend the Ivey MBA program for a career switcher like me and what are your general thoughts about the two schools in terms of placements/prestige on Bay st. etc

Thanks in advance and any inputs would be highly appreciated!!

Ivey is literally known for being a case study type school. If your goal is corp dev/strategy, it would make sense to attend there. Also a well diverse alumni base in Canada/States, downside being you have to live in London and miss out on the convenience for coffee chats in the city, although not really a problem
