SEC school finance

High school senior here. I have to go to an SEC school or a school in the south for finance - where should I go? I really like Bama and the culverhouse investment management group. I think SEC has opportunity if you’re willing to go get it. Mizzou also has UMIG, another finance club with astounding placement with J.P. Morgan in Missouri and in New York. I want to work in high finance as well, ideally an elite boutique. My high school stats are exceptional, and I got into multiple targets and t20s this cycle, but I cannot attend for personal reasons. Please don’t ask why, but I cannot attend.

If you got into Georgia or Florida, they both place into IB well enough if you stay on the right track

Tbh go where you feel the most comfortable. It will take a considerable amount of work to land a job in IB from any SEC school that isn’t Vandy (and technically UT Austin now) and the differences between the rest are negligible. Pick the school you feel the most supported at and embrace the grind.
