Seeking Advice - Graduating senior at a top target

Hi guys,

I'm currently a graduating senior at a top target school. I'm going to be starting at a top boutique, and I'm excited about it. I'm thinking about business school down the line, say HBS or Wharton, and I am not very confidant about my prospects. Part of the reason is that my grades have fallen.

Self-blame aside, I would sincerely appreciate any members here who have made it to a top tier b-school to please give me their perspective on what made their applications successful, who their peers were, and how some of their peers have made up for defects on their resume.

I read this forum a lot, and I know people talk about GMAT's, work experience, recommendations, essay and the like, but I'd love to be able to get into a private, in depth discussion with someone who is willing to just talk about their experience.
