SSE ~3 % admission rate?

Hi,

My impression is that Stockholm School of Economics is a top regarded European business school, but I came across something baffling on SSE's Wikipedia page (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stockholm_School_of_…):

Before the first inake in fall 2009, SSE received over 3500 applications to the approximately 150 seats in the program offered to external applicants. The specializations in Finance and Economics were the most popular with 975 (32 admitted) and 962 (28 admitted) applicants, respectively.

So for the seats open for foreign apps the admission rate is approx 3%. That's pretty insane!

Any thoughts on this? I can't find the same numbers on SSE's official homepage so I don't know what to believe.

Cheers

if the numbers are true, the reason is twofold:

1)SSE is a good program 2)SSE is FREE (no tuition)
