Starting from the bottom, can I make it to the top?

So im thinking about attending Brandeis Univeristy for their Masters in International Econ and Finance program. I know it's not Harvard, Stanford, MIT...whatever, but I'm curious to see what the street thinks about the school in general. I've also been accepted to Tufts, American, and GW...all for masters in Econ.

I graduated from a medium-sized state school in the northeast with a 3.9 GPA and I majored in Economics with a minor in Math and Business. I have no "banking" experience, but I have hours and hours of research experience for my economics profs. I consider myself a pretty ambitious person and know that networking is MUST.

So my questions are: (1) Starting from the bottom, is there a chance for me to make it to the top? (2) Brandeis, Tufts, American, or GW?

My dream school was NYU, but I did not get accepted. My recs from my profs were well written and I was really honored about what they had to say about me. I'm not going to let my NYU rejection deter me from working toward earning a job with a good establishment and becoming successful.

Anybody can make it to the top (or almost). But the question is, do you have what it takes to make it to the top? I think in order for you to do so you need all the necessary tools that are basically impossible to learn in a class room. You have to be work horse, willing follow before you lead, seek the proper mentors (very important), and be very lucky. What school you go to is not as important as you think, I would say being curious and analytical are way more important. My $0.02.
