Strategy for choosing recommenders

I'm preparing my application to the only b school I plan on applying to this year (it's my #1 choice by far), and I have a bit of a dilemma with choosing my recommenders. I am in the military, and I have 2 colleagues who I've known for years and have done a lot of training with. They both know me well. I also have a supervisor who I got along quite well with, but I haven't talked to him in about a year and a half, and I asked him for recommendations already 2 years ago.

I was considering just asking both my friends to write peer recommendations, but one of them is a bit lazy and I thought it would be better to give the adcom perspectives from both my peer and a supervisor. Perhaps having two peer recommendations is also a red flag. However, I don't know if my supervisor will give me the same ringing endorsement my peer would.

Nonetheless, I'm still leaning toward asking my supervisor. Does this sound like a good strategy?
