They're relatively different tests in terms of content and strategy (if nothing else, a CAT vs. a non-CAT is way different). In your situation, where the jobs you want/are recruiting for require the SAT, I would only think about that right now. The GMAT is a five-year down the road thing, while the SAT is an immediate need. I think you should prioritize, crush the SAT, and get the job you want.

If and when you do that, then start thinking about the GMAT. Maybe in the summer months before you start your full-time job. I just don't see a point in wasting limited resources that should be spent studying for the test they ask for, networking, and prepping for interviews.

Honestly, I haven't heard of ONE place that actually verifies SAT scores. Just saying...

Frank Sinatra - "Alcohol may be man's worst enemy, but the bible says love your enemy."

Take the GMAT and forget about the SATs. Explain (in a way that doesn't make you sound quite so lazy) about how you didn't "really" take the SATs in high school and that the GMAT is a good proxy for your intelligence. I used my GMAT for buyside recruiting before I applied to b-school and it definitely helped. I was never asked for SATs once I supplied my GMAT.
