The right degree? (MS Finance - Indiana Univ)

Good afternoon everyone. This is my first post on WSO, so please excuse me if I break any rules ; Also, forgive the long first post!

I have a very specialized undergraduate degree in Trust and Investment Management from Campbell University in North Carolina. After graduation, I received an offer to work in financial/investment management with a large banking institution's Trust department.I am now looking to move over into portfolio management. Though I took classes in PM when I was in school, my employer prefers MBA/MS graduates for PM positions

I applied (and was accepted) to Indiana University's MS Finance program. I have just now noticed that their program is very focused on corporate finance, with no noticeable classes in Investment management. My question is: Will this program be a good fit?

Though the curriculum is skewed towards CF, I feel that understanding financial analysis, capital allocation etc is necessary knowledge for a great PM. At the same time, a lack of focus on topics such as asset allocation, modern portfolio theory etc would be extremely dissappointing.

Does anyone have any input on the curriculum of the program or whether this seems like a good fit for my situation?

Thank you!

IMO, portfolio theory is often lumped into other classes. Maybe look at Penn States online MSF or the new Georgetown one. These are your best options.
