Tips for people in first year of studying business/economics?
I'm in my first year of studying business and administration in Europe, and I have a lot on my mind in regards to setting up my future.
First off, I want to get an internship next summer in order to gain experience related to my field of study. But most that offer such internships, only seem to offer it to 2nd or 3rd-year students, or only people with an MBA. Any ideas on what I should look for, or is it too early for me to find opportunties now?
Is it possible to get around the standard internship program the financial institutions offer, and ask them for an internship directly?
How can I best utilize the lecturers/professors? Several of them have past work experience with large financial intsitutions in Europe, is there a way to benefit from that?
Did you regret not doing something in particular, during your first year being as a student?
