Top MBA vs Top JD for non target undergrad

I'll be graduating from undergrad with a 4.0 from a nontarget and going to work with a top supply chain company such as P&G. However, I want to either get my JD or my MBA. If I get my MBA, I will have to work for about 5 years before actually attending business school, but if I get my JD, I would be able to go right at age 22. I would probably be able to get into M7 and t14, and I don't want to get a JD/MBA.

Because I would have to spend about 5 years working before I could go to business school, would it be more beneficial for me to go to a top law school since I would be able to immediately save 5 years and when I graduate start working for big law and hopefully keep climbing towards the partner rank?

My considerations would be earning earning potential, lifestyle, hours, and opportunities.

you have many terrible assumptions.

  1. how does supply chain help law school?
  2. you don't have to work 5 years. what if it becomes 3, or 7 years in your scenario?
  3. big law is 3 years of grind but exits without experience. MBA is easier on average but requires good credentials at entry. They also don't exit for the same jobs.
  4. Your timeline is confusing as hell. you want to do law now or later?
  5. You don't even know what your goals really are. please think twice before making a decision on life direction. lastly, my AMA thread on early career may be helpful. Good luck.
