UCL Vs Durham Vs Penn State Vs Purdue for investment banking/Private Equity

I’ve received offers from these universities for Economics, and now my main question is: which one should I choose? On paper, UCL is a top choice for me, especially considering its strong ranking and placement. But what I’ve been thinking about—maybe even overthinking—is the current state of the UK job market, which hasn’t been very promising lately.

In contrast, the U.S. seems to be emerging as a more dynamic space for opportunities. So now I’m wondering whether I should start seriously considering some of the universities I got into in the U.S., even if they’re not as strong in rankings or placements, simply because they might give me better access to the job market there.

Am I overthinking this? I’d really appreciate any advice.
