Undergrad b-school class

Hi,

Which class has the higher NPV? Advanced corporate or venture cap? Same great professor in both classes. can't take both. Only problem was that I had a sub-optimal professor for corporate finance I.

I think what he's trying to say is that due to his sub-par professor in the intro Corp. Finance course, he may have a disadvantage when taking the advanced course with a better professor. Using this logic, you would be equally as disadvantaged in the VC course, so you might as well take the more broad based Adv. Corporate Finance class over the specific focused course (as kingtut said)...If the professor is great you will have no problems getting up to speed.

Under my tutelage, you will grow from boys to men. From men into gladiators. And from gladiators into SWANSONS.

This. If the prof is good, as you stated, he will help negate any lost information from the sub-par prof from the first course. (my experience)

Blue BallerThis is probably a school specific question. Maybe you should chat with others who have taken one or the other and see why they chose the course they did. Should be pretty easy to find someone who has taken both classes as well (i presume).
Agree. Isn't there a site that has reviews and easiness ratings of professors or something?

I'm not sure, never heard of it myself. You could always take both classes. What's the difference between 12, 15 or 18 credit hours? You could also enroll in both and go to the first week of classes and drop one after checking out the syllabus and seeing what your peers are saying about the courses (and the work load).
