University of Pennsylvania Non Wharton! (help needed)

I have spent a lot of time looking into the university's interdisciplinary majors. I would like to major in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (concentration in choice and behaviors) as well as Health and Societies (concentration in health care markets and finance). Does anyone know anything about these degree paths? I would like to jump straight into investment banking M&A (healthcare focus or tech with somewhat of a health focus) or private equity (healthcare focus or tech with somewhat of a health focus). Do you think these degree paths would be looked down upon by employers?

Side note: prior military (think Coast Guard, Air Force, Navy) with some experience in finance and a few other things.

Thanks in advance monkeys!

Why not take a stab at Consulting? I've heard that consulting doesn't care as much about majors. Seems more fitting with a liberal arts background.

Finance is much more quantitative. If you want Investment Banking it would be easier to major in Finance.

@nyc-monkey" I considering consulting first, but I like doing deals. I want to do M&A IB or PE. I agree that they do not care much about majors.

I am going to take courses outside of school to learn the quantitative aspects of finance as well as self-study.

I believe healthcare is in the top five most important aspects of an economy. However, based on my research technology and a few other fields are usually viewed in a higher light in M&A.

Big bodacious goals will get us to another galaxy.

Good luck. I would spend my sparetime doing other things like talking to girls and enjoying college, but do whatever floats your boat. Remember you only go to college once.
