UT Mccombs vs Berkeley Haas undergraduate

Hey guys,

I got accepted into Mccombs (in state), non BHP. I also applied to Berkeley's Global Management Program (direct Haas admit), but was accepted as a College of Letters and Science admit, where I would have to apply to Haas during the fall of my sophomore year (30% acceptance rate). I would like to try and get a job in investment banking or consulting. Is it worth the risk of not getting into Haas, or should I stay instate at Mccombs? How hard is it to get in Haas after 2 years? Cost isn't a major factor.

This is a simple decision if costs aren’t a factor. No need to over complicate. UT is a great school but Berkeley Haas Is meaningfully more prestigious and the better choice if you want to do banking anywhere (except maybe Texas o&g). Worst case, you do Econ at Berkeley which will still offer stronger education and placements than UT.
