UVA vs Emory

Choosing between UVA and Emory for my ED1. I was wondering if I could gain some insight on which is better for IB and for Consulting. I will take on an econ/math along with likely a business major at both schools. Which school would you say is better for BB/EB recruitment as well as for MBB and T2 in consulting?

I would say peers in the southeast, UVA is a tier above for NYC/BOS and west coast

Can't speak much to consulting but can for IB. Emory is a solid choice with a strong BBA program with some really solid graduates every year. You can 100% place into a top EB/BB, but it won't get handed to you like it would at a top target (limited OCR)

UVA has brand recognition and solid placements all around. However, I did hear of some drama between UVA and some EBs this past year. Not sure how it'll carry on to future cycles.

Overall, I think UVA edges out Emory but not by much.

wont get into details bc im not 100% sure but heard multiple ppl reneged offers from select firms

Both are equal for consulting. For IB UVA has a slight edge in NYC overall though for EBs Emory might have a slight edge.
