Villanova VS Bucknell VS Hamilton VS Middlebury

Hey

I am a high school senior applying ED II this coming month and i wanted to know-

How is the Wall Street(or basically IB/PE) presence of these schools? Which school would be a better choice?

 I am planning on Double Majoring(Finance/Economics + CompSci/Math)

also... if i get into Hamilton/Middlebury, i can go for the 3+2 engineering option with Dartmouth if required.

How would yall rate these schools if I want to pursue a career in IB/PE?

(assuming similar cost for each... say around 40k total debt)

thanks!

Pick Middlebury; it's way better for IB. It's also got more resources and sick study abroad programs.

Wouldn't recommend the Dartmouth 3+2 if you're not really interested in engineering.

Have heard great things about Middlebury in terms of it's IB recruiting. I go to a similar LAC, and gotta say I love the fact that I can take literally any classes I want. Aside from completing my major requirements I'm able to take anything. This is the only time in your life that you're going to be able to learn from incredibly intelligent professors, so definitely take advantage of the access you have to them in your 4 years. Not sure if Midd has any finance classes -- my school has ZERO, and economics teaches you very little, if anything about accounting/valuation/etc. However, I've felt that economics has really improved my problem solving skills and taught me how to approach problems. I had no trouble at all learning the required accounting and valuations technicals to get through interviews. With all that being said, I think the most important thing you need to consider is where you feel you'd fit in and be happy, because no matter how much on campus recruiting your schools has, if you're miserable, life will suck and you probably won't land anything anyway as a result of that.
