Warwick non quantitive vs Bocconi BIEF for London IB.

Have received an offer for the university of Warwick for BA Politics and International studies (At the time of application I wanted to pursue diplomatic/political aspirations. Additionally, i am currently pursuing education outside of the UK and will not be allocated home fees despite my immigration status.)

I am also going to be apply to Bocconi for Bachelor in economics and finance in September 2025.

For both of these courses i will be taking a gap year and beginning in September of 2026. During that time i will be pre reading course materials and attempting to strengthen my Excel/Quantitative skills.

Background information i am an Italian/British duel citizen and is looking to break into IBD. My concern lies in the fact that even though Warwick is a target school the course may cause some issues with banks or if I decide to pursue a masters in the future? Please advise which path would be most beneficial for my professional development and why.
