Well looks like you have to go now. But still, decent school for placements. Nothing crazy but the people who set themselves up from day 1 will be the best. Go in with strong knowledge of finance and get into best clubs, take classes strategically (keep GPA 3.9+), make good friends with older kids who are interning/going full time after this year (they will teach you ins and outs + good resources when you network).

If you do all this, you should have a pretty easy time getting at least in Chicago, and maybe NYC. I know Gugg does OCR (on campus recruiting), GS and other BB take a few, same with Evercore and PWP. I'm sure 12-20 people are landing at EB/BB in NYC and maybe 10-12 more at other offices. And then more at MM firms.

Thanks for the info but my thing is, would GS and PWP Chicago look at me because they have no Washu kids. Just looking at PWP they have 10 UIUC and IU kids and that’s just crazy. It’s a circlejerk of mid schools.
