Which is better for S&T Imperial's Risk Management & Financial Engineering or EDHEC's MSc in Financial Markets?

Hey, I am accepted to both the programmes mentioned in the quesion.

Does on give an edge over the other for a career in S&T? In general Imperial College has surely the better reputation but I heard that specifically the Financial Markets Master at EDHEC places well, too. I would like to work in London, Frankfurt or Zurich and have a quantitative background. Nevertheless, I dont see myself becoming a quant. Tuition and costs of living are about 30000€ less at EDHEC than at Imperial.

I would appreciate your thoughts!

Do you want to work in London or France? If you want to work in London then go Imperial.

Any MSc programme is a cash cow. The Business School is definitely weaker than the College but it's not bad at the MSc level, still a full target. And especially for S&T rather than IB, the Imperial brand (even the Business School) is very, very strong.  It's the MBA that is below par rather than the MSc programmes.

Not sure if it would place you well into Frankfurt/Zurich, not sure re. EDHEC too. Might want to speak to alumni of both places there.
