WHU vs. Mannheim vs. SSE

Hey!

I can’t decide between WHU and Mannheim (2nd choice) or SSE for a Bachelor‘s Degree.

I’m come from a normal family, therefore I‘d only go to WHU with a scholarship. So tuition fees shouldn’t matter a lot in this discussion.

I haven’t decided which industry I want to work in. IB is definitely an option, but right know I feel like Consulting is a better option. However, after that I‘d like to go into PE. Sooner or later, I want to build my own business. That’s something I have already decided on.

I don’t know yet whether I want to work in Germany. For IB, my aim is London for sure though. For the other industries, I don’t know yet. However, WHU seems to have a great placement and network in Germany.

For start ups, WHU is definitely great. Is SSE on the same level? Mannheim probably isn’t as strong in that field.

Furthermore, what are the students at each university like? I am German and don’t speak any Swedish yet, will I be an outsider at SSE? What’s it like coming from a normal family and attending one of those universities?

Thanks so much for your answers!
