Why would an Investment Banking Associate Want an MBA?

I sometimes see discussion on WSO as to whether an MBA is worthwhile for someone coming out of investment banking, especially if they are at the associate level.

I recently interviewed Ida Valentine for Admissions Straight Talk, Accepted's podcast. It was an amazing episode, but she addressed that question directly in this clip.

She discusses under what circumstances she would not go for the MBA and what has caused her to pursue the MBA. FYI, she is joining Harvard Business School's class of 2021.
