My deposit is down for the Corporate track. I wanted a program that places well into the Midwest or Northeast and WUSTL has a strong record in those regions. The general prestige of the university and relatively competitive class profile were also positives.
I have some full time work experience that is somewhat relevant, strong gpa and gmat and am looking to work in asset management. I'll PM you and we can discuss further.
I don't believe their website has any information about the actual students that comprise this years program. They have averages and aggregates that give me only a vague idea about the characteristics/qualities of my potential classmates. Also, and I'm not accusing WUSTL of this, but schools tend to embellish (based solely on my own anecdotal experiences).
Either way, thank you for sharing your profile.

Have you tried looking at their websites? These programs provide this type of information there.
I decided against WUSTL, but here are my stats that got me into the corporate track:
700 GMAT (43Q/42V)
3.6 GPA
Three IB internships
Founded own company

Fair enough. I was just trying to make sure that you utilize all avenues, as I am sure this will be a big decision for you.
apologies for reviving a semi-old thread here, but I recently graduated undergrad and have been working full time in BBback office. I have stats that should get me into WUSTL, but I can't find placement stats anywhere. My career goal would be IB analyst, preferably BB (Obviously would take a buy side analyst position as well). I appreciate any insight you guys have here.
How is the BB IB presence for on campus recruiting? Any buy side?
How did your class place into IB? Is it mainly BB, MM, boutique, etc?
Are they any trends in where students place? (AM vs IB vs S&T, etc)
Would I have trouble finding a full time IB job without internship or other relevant experience?
Thanks in advance bro's I'm really trying to figure out which school would be the best fit.

Read around, someone posted on wso recently who went through WUSTL's MSF program and said no one placed BB. 40% went to mm/boutique and they were very competitive candidates.

Going into the corporate track. I selected WUSTL generally based on geographic preference, as I really like the Midwest.
Cheers!
