Ok, I was a Rhodes Scholar around 15 years back before wall street domesticated "occupy" and turned them into mewling quims, whimpering about diversity, equality, human rights and whatnots.
Cecil Rhodes' legacy has been tainted yes. But the old guard scholars still outnumber the minorities. Besides, nobody takes a minority/female/LGBTQ Rhodes Scholar seriously, just like nobody takes a minority/female/LGBTQ US student seriously, because they all got in via DEI/AA.
Being a straight, white and male Rhodes Scholar over a decade ago has opened doors that even those from my background once thought had closed for eternity since the enlightened era.
