My As1 bonus was less than $10k in 2018 (and TC under $140k). Actual management gaslighting: "Be patient...you're doing great and good things coming to you." + "There's no other industry that pays as well as ours for the work life balance." + "You're about to be at a huge inflection point in your career for compensation." => still seem to be patiently awaiting for that in '24...

50k here as AS1, TC was 180, base went from 130 to 150.
Was not overly happy lol.
non-BB S&T. Directional guidance so far is that numbers will be down 10% from an already painful 2022 number.

Started summer of 22, bonus for this year is 175k (base of 250k). I work at one of the big OMMs. Bonus was a little disappointing given what my new grad package was (550k all in) but realizing performance bonuses can be kind of flat at my firm for the first few years.

Does your desk split out structured “trading” vs the pure structuring side? I.e. trading mandate vs non trading mandate
On a securitized desk doing primary issuances so it’s it’s all direct pnl
Comp day in ER @ a BB bank today. Junior analyst 1st year on street but 2nd year hire (~9 months xp in ER).. comp was 135 total (120base // 15bonus or 12.5%) + 5k bump in salary. No idea what to benchmark against for ER if anyone has any insight but feeling as if I got rocked
