From what I can tell, the majority of people working in treasury in emerging markets, particularly in the Middle East, have passed it. If that's where you are, it's most likely worth it. I've never really seen it mentioned in NY or London however.

I know this is an outdated post, however I wanted to contribute on the mentioned ACI Dealing Certificate as I am currently going over the same matter.
Based in the Middle East also. I have noted the importance of it here in the Middle East and I too am pursuing it. Depending on where you are based in the region, there are National Associations (affiliated with ACI main office) that offer study material/courses on the certificate.
