Algorithmic Trading Book for Econ/Finance Graduates

Hello everyone,

I'm an Economics graduate pursuing a career in trading. I was wondering if any of you is aware of an algorithmic trading "bible", that is a very well recognised guide or book on algorithmic trading. I'm looking for something introductory as I have no experience in algorithm building.

Thank you everyone!

Depends how serious you are. If you actually want to pursue a career in building trading algorithms, you would likely need to get a formal degree in computer science. If you really want to self-study, then you could probably pick up the 'python for data analysis' or 'python for finance' books.
