Any undergrads hear from some of the top prop shops yet?

Hey guys I'm a Junior at a semi-target (Ivy but not Harvard/Wharton) and have received many first rounds at some pretty good prop shops (SIG, Optiver, TMG, Citadel, Chicago etc.) and was wondering if anyone on the site has heard from any of the other top places, specifically Jane Street Capital, DE Shaw, DRW. I feel like I am a good candidate (and have made it already to several final rounds) so I feel like I would have a good shot to make at least a first round at some of the places I just mentioned. My understanding was that they tend to interview a lot of people in the first round, but I am worried that it is already a little bit late in the process and maybe I did not make the cut without being informed. Anyone hear back from them yet for trader positions? Would appreciate any feedback or info about the process from applicants or employees!

Thanks!

Yeah I agree but not all of the places recruit on my campus (DRW) and was just wondering if people from outside of their target schools have contacted them about recruiting. I know that for other places that I have heard from where my school is not considered one of their 4-5 targets I have already been interviewing whereas Im sure they will not go to OCR for their targets until maybe Jan/Feb

The thing I heard for prop shops is that they don't hire all of their juniors from a single superday (At least my firm doesn't). There are one or two big superdays for the kids from the OCR, and there would be mini on-site interviews for other online applicants with the size less than 10.

When I interviewed with SIG my senior year in college for full-time jobs they extended around 12-15 offers. Great shop although their location sucks. From what I've seen the traders who work there get better exit opps than the Chicago prop traders. Not sure why this is the case.

I've noticed a similar trend. A lot of the newer prop shops are started by former SIG traders. Might have something to do with their amazing educational program for their new hires (and to a lesser extent, but still great, interns)

For SIG superdays, I know they're having atleast two in January.
