BFAM Partners (HK) Online Assessment

Does anyone have experience doing the online assessment for BFAM Partners in HK? Their assessment is on the Interview Mocha platform – I've never used it and have no idea what to expect, I've only used SHL/Cut-E etc.

Anyone know if there will be a programming/coding test portion as well? This is for their Junior Trader Graduate Programme and they have other programmes for more quant areas (software developer, data science/AI etc.), but their entire strategy seems to be quite quant focused.

Any insight would be super helpful, thanks!

Hey man, sorry for the late reply. The coding part was very similar to what you'd find on sites like hackerrank. Difficulty level was pretty varying (but generally around medium-hard level on hackerrank). I think there were like 3 questions, 15 minutes for the entire section (NOT 5 minutes per, 15 minutes for all 3). I used Python for sure but I think there were options for some other ones (Java, JS, C++, honestly not 100% sure about this part).

The pattern matching part was actually really varied (it was one of the longest and difficult prop trading tests I've ever taken). There was some verbal reasoning parts, number sequences, pattern recognition, etc. It's honestly hard to give one thing you should prepare for because it was a very long test compared to other prop firm assessments.

Hi, I am invited to do online assessment on 2020 Artificial Intelligence (AI) / Data Science Summer Intern(HK) , But I don't know what's to expect ? Does anyone have any experience? Thanks in advance!
