Big 4 CIMA assurance or small firm trading operations CFA?

Hi all,

Please help!

I've seen many posts here recommending Big 4 ACA/ACCA audit over BB ops. Aside from A(C)CA, how about CIMA vs ops

About the specific offers:

Ops

-> Adv: global markets (my interest), supports my CFA, higher salary, possible to convert to trading since others have done so before me

-> Disadv: very small firm and relatively unknown, networking opportunities low, might not be able to convert to FO or even MO

CIMA

-> Adv: Big 4 brand name, networking opportunities high, client-facing experience, more exit opportunities

-> Disadv: not global markets, CIMA not as useful as ACA/ACCA, lower salary, most likely wipes out trading opportunities

On a side note, how about market risk or product control at relatively big and known firms? I think they can provide CFA support too.
