BofA 2023 Sustainable Finance Summer Analyst

Is the sustainable finance internship at BofA the same as any other S&T internship in a BB? I know the focus is on green transition, but other than that. Is there any major difference?

I know someone who did this, my impression is that it’s separate from the S&T rotational internship, but you’re still part of the global markets program. They said they went to the same events/talks/networking as S&T people but they spent their time with one team and that’s where you’re expected to get a return from. If you want to go into structuring/ type role which is more IB style than trading (&more mission driven) its a good bet, but it’s not a clear path into trading like the S&T programme. Also apparently growing fast right now.
