Breaking into trading from Quant Risk

I currently work as a Quant Credit Risk Manager, I have my masters in finance from a non-target. I want to break into a Junior trader role or an entry level role where I can use my Quant background to develop. I was wondering is going from Quant Risk to a front office role like Trading possible? Any advice on where to start? I read all the boards that say network network network, which I am doing.
