learning about execution algo and transaction cost analysis can help you become buy side traders. high touch cash equities won’t disappear,because you can always find clients desperate for attention. but overall, it will shrink, just like exotic products.

i mean high touch, not all cash equities. there will be less and less high touch cash equities traders in future because more and more client will trade with algo which has lower commission
