Hello I will soon start as Cash Equities trader Analyst at Morgan Stanley. In your view, what is the best book/material to prepare?
My past experiences were all related to credit/rates so equities is all new for me.

learning about execution algo and transaction cost analysis can help you become buy side traders. high touch cash equities won’t disappear,because you can always find clients desperate for attention. but overall, it will shrink, just like exotic products.

I think you are very confused
i mean high touch, not all cash equities. there will be less and less high touch cash equities traders in future because more and more client will trade with algo which has lower commission

How do you get hired with no equities experience? And which desk are you on? Electronic, program, single stock, international... etc etc?
