has anyone a list of smaller boutiques/funds/brokers/asset managers etc… in hong kong / singapore?
i remember a thread were people had such a list for the us, which was posted in wso, so would be great if someone had a similiar thing for asia...
might be helpful to lots of people, as bb recruiting looks quite bad at the moment...

In light of that question, how many times in the 90s do you think someone in China asked this about NYC and got the same answer about English? There are a shit load of people in NYC finance that can't have a full English conversation to save their lives.

In singapore, all business is pretty much done in english. Granted no one will talk to you outside of work about the latest, hottest restaurants, but you'll be fine professionally.
