DB - Deutsche Bank - Would you join one of their trading desks now?
Hello,
Would you join DB right now if you were given an offer on one of their trading desks?
With everything that is happening, it is hard to know where the company is heading.
Too risky?
I do think that despite all the recent news and facts, DB is still a solid name. And in the worst scenario you can always spend it decently around other banks
It really depends what you want to do later on and what the alternatives are. Given all the bad news about DB recently I would always go for an American company rather than DB.
However, and I think this is still important, if you really want to work in Trading and DB is the only company offering you this, then go for it! You will still learn a lot, you will get exposure to the job you want and you can always move afterwards (even when you're coming from DB ;) )
So maybe don't see DB as a long-term investment but a stepping stone to better waters
