F500 summer intern to BB

Hi Guys, I am currently working at a F500 company as a summer treasury intern. More specifically capital markets- hedging fx risk. I was wondering if this experience could help with getting into a FT sales and trading rotational program at a BB or even MM firm. Has anyone had any experience with making a move like this? I am currently a Junior at a non-target with a double major in Econ and Finance. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

tlalwaniSorry I am an upcoming Senior. I wish I had this internship a year prior...
Oh well in that case, if you have a strong GPA and get a FT offer from the F500, you could probably leverage that into an offer at a MM or a non-FO role at a BB but a top-tier FO job would likely be out of reach...

I have a couple good connections at a few BBs. I had a couple interviews for SA positions but was cut after the phone interview. Hopefully after this internship I can push through and make it past the process. Thanks for the responses. What do you guys think about pushing towards an off cycle fall internship?

ALL about alumni/strong connections.

I basically do all the analytical work behind the trades (balance sheet hedging etc.). I then get it approved by senior management who make any adjustments that they feel like they need to make. I sit with my manager and she does the actual trading. In all honesty, the actual trading part is easy but since i am an intern i am not supposed to be doing it from a company standpoint.
