Favorite Fed Speeches
So I'm admittedly a bit of a nerd and am spending some time going through some of the many federal reserve speeches before I start work full time in the summer.

Since half of these speeches are gems and the other half are terribly dry and worthless, I thought it would be good to have a thread where people listed their favorite fed speeches.
I'll start with Bernanke's 2002 "Deflation: Making sure it Doesnt Happen" speech. This was making the rounds during my SA stint over the summer and is the speech where Bernanke earned the nickname "Helicopter Ben" for his helicopter drop of money reference.
That speech can be found here: http://www.federalreserve.gov/boarddocs/speeches/…
wow.
To each their own.
Are you trying to get us to do your homework for you again? LOL -- I'm just playing.
By the way, are you implying that Ben came up with that helicopter metaphor? Milton Friedman came up with that (and maybe he learned it elsewhere). Dude, you should check out my post about the Fed in the Econ Group, as it'd probably be up your alley and offer you some food for thought.
Yeah, in the speech Bernanke references Friedman's quote.
Will check out the econ group, didn't know that existed but seems to be just what I'm looking for.
If you're interested in macroeconomics, it'd be great to have you start some threads, since I'd like to learn a bunch more about macro.
