Yes, photography policy on the trading floor. And my workstation has 5 screens all lit up [you can imagine, bloomberg filled screens/chats].

Just to add, dismissal reason states disclosure of confidential bank information to unauthorized person.

 

we had a similar case when a more junior person took a  "day in the life" picture for their facebook of a meeting room.
That image contained the strategy deck, colleagues' faces weren't blurred, room number was visible, etc

they were taken in by HR and the post was deleted, it was close to a dismissal.

 

No idea why you took selfie with restricted info included. It's unfortunate you got fired for a stupid mistake, and hope experts here give you tips on career recovery. If dismissal cause gets entered into public databases, you may want to look for careers outside of your current field.
