Was recently fired from a mid-tier prop firm after 2 years due to performance issues. I lost a lot of money during the second half of 2019 partially due to poor judgement and partially do to bad luck. I traded FICC and was a market maker, going to exclude details about specific product to maintain anonymity. Is there any chance that I could lateral to a hedge fund or bank trading division? Or will I likely have to work for another prop firm or switch industries?
