FNY - First New York Securities - trader economics
anybody know what the economics are for FNY? i hear they pay ~40% of pnl....but have not seen what kind of risk metrics they impose. For a new trader, how much $$ can you be down before you get stopped out? Lets assume you are mostly trading futures...its not a question of capital...just 50k of capital would enable a trader to daytrade 100 ES contracts...which is a huge amount of leverage (thats about 15mm of exposure). So, the real question is...how much $$ can a new trader lose before getting stopped out? 25k? 50k? 100k?
