Goldman Sachs commodity derivatives
Does anyone have any insight on the energy derivatives desk at GS? This isn’t the same team as the GSPC group is it?
Specifically on culture, comp, long-term prospects. I understand that the physical side is scaling down but presumably the paper one is still going strong?
More generally, is energy derivatives trading susceptible to full-on automation?
I am less worried about exit ops and more focused on career progression with that group.
Any info much appreciated, thank you.

More suggestions...
I hope those threads give you a bit more insight.
