Got dumped four interviews later.
My first interview was last week in July and when i interviewed with MD on 31st August i thought i made it. Today i was told that i was not selected. Is this even common practice? Shouldn't they have rejected me earlier when managers were interviewing me?

I've had the same experience before after 7-8 rounds +MD, sometimes it's just luck in the end. He prob has 1 or 2 finalists and the MD just connected more with the other folks or the fit just isn’t perfectly there, nothing personal. Just keep your heads up and keep looking
