GPA question - Considering a triple major at a semi-target
Hey So I didn't do too hot this semester( 3.6-3.7 ), which is a huge surprise to me, since I got a 4.0 last sem. I calculated that by junior recruiting, I will have exactly a 3.88 GPA. I was wondering if this is low, for either IB or trading, considering I am a triple major at a semi-target.

Take Rambo's advice to heart. I don't care if you're triple majoring in math, physics, and aerospace engineering at MIT. Trust me, a 3.88 GPA is not good enough. However, if you get above a 3.9 you might be able to get a job in a bank's HR department.

You might be ok if you can pull off a 4.0, get a banking internship at a boutique, and are president of 2-3 student orgs, but that could be stretching it given where you are now. This is of course assuming that those three majors at Math, Physics, and Finance/Economics.
Are you a Math Olympiad gold medalist OP? Almost everybody in banking/trading is these days.

you guys are kidding... right? I did mean this as a serious question. I was extremely frustrated at the fact that I did not get a 4.0. Also I am an Honors student at the university, and my majors are math, econ and french
