Hong Kong S&T SA return rate
Hi everyone.
I'm going to intern at a BB bank in HK this summer (Global Markets Division) and was curious about the conversion rate into a FT Analyst. I heard that the hc for S&T is more limited compared with IB and the markets condition doesn't seem too good atm...
Anyone could shed light on this?

You’ll have to be more specific with the bank/product as It’s actually quite hard to say what the return rate is like.
Markets teams have generally been printing record numbers for the last two years and some banks are still recruiting quite hard while others aren’t in HK
How about GS?
Depends on bank but should be high. Record markets revenue + expats wanting to leave means that the chance of HC being cancelled is low. The conversions I’ve seen have been near 100% at my BB for the past few years.

If you don't mind me asking, what is the salary for GS S&T intern this year?
Also, any idea about FT salaries?
