You shoudl be first one in and brush up on what happened in your market over night, then during the day you'll get various tasks and in the evening you should get stuff to do to understand more the product you trade. So you won't get facetime, you just will have more work than anyone else on the desk, I don't see how you would be able to leave your desk earlier than your analysts. Also afaik S&T barely if ever work on weekends - you should be able to plan dates with marketing girls at that time.

 

I doubt the people who commented above even work in s&t, but 90% of analysts are gone by 6:30. Mortgages and structured credit are really the only ones where they might stick around that late. If the people on the desk are somewhat chill, and they’re stuck in the office late dealing with BS, they’ll probably just tell you to go home anyway
