Based on the most helpful WSO content, EDHEC is generally considered a semi-target for London. While it may not have the same level of recognition as top-tier programs like LSE, LBS, or Oxbridge, EDHEC's MSc programs, including Financial Engineering, are well-regarded and can provide a solid foundation for a career in sell-side trading. Additionally, EDHEC's program is noted for being balanced between financial markets and corporate finance, which could align well with your career goals.

However, for roles in sell-side trading and eventually transitioning to a global macro hedge fund, networking, internships, and relevant experience will be critical. If you aim for London, you might also want to consider programs at LSE or LBS, which are more direct targets for the City.
