Is it worth doing a CFA if working in a fund?
ive been a systematic/quant trader for over two years now, alot of my role is execution and managing the systematic strategies which is perfect for me. but my asset class is super super niche. I can clearly see i lack finance and econ knowledge. im thinking of applying and doing the cfa, i dont really care too much about the exam, just to learn. level 1 has pretty good topics all of which im sure i will benefit from. im sure if i pass the l1 then i can work elsewhere outside of this specific niche too if i ever need to.
has any one else done the same?
