JP Morgan Sales and Trading Summer Analyst - FT Salary Expectation? Desk placement process?

I am an incoming JP Morgan Trading SA in the Markets division (JPM's S&T). I'm new to the industry and wanted to know how the desk placement process works, what desks to try and be placed on (most lucrative, fun, etc.), and what I could expect for total takehome pay (base is currently $100,000).

If anyone has some recommendations for desks to check out, I would really appreciate it. I have a semi-quantitative background (Comp Sci/Math majors) but don't want to be an all-out quant since I'm quite extroverted and enjoy working with people. Probably looking for something somewhat high flow with good exit ops into high paying hedge funds if I go down that route later in life.
